We’re thrilled to share the final development update for the brand‑new Passenger2x Flight UI, which is now complete. All systems and roadmapped features for this period are now complete, along with the new cabin graphics. The only remaining task is the rewrite of the Flight UI section of the manual, and once that’s done, the update will be ready to ship.
We can now confirm that the new Flight UI will be released next week.
This update has been months in the making, touching nearly every part of the in‑flight experience. Below is a full breakdown of what’s finished and what you can expect when the update goes live.

All Flight UI Systems Are Complete
Every system planned for the new Flight UI, including roadmap items for this period, is now fully implemented and tested. This includes new features, quality‑of‑life improvements, and a complete overhaul of how the interface behaves during flight.
Two of the most anticipated roadmap features are now fully functional:
Automatic “Prepare Cabin for Landing” Trigger
The new automatic cabin‑secure system is complete and works exactly as designed. In the settings menu, you can choose the altitude at which Passenger2x will automatically trigger the prepare‑for‑landing sequence.
This feature is optional and can be disabled for users who prefer full manual control.
Default Flight UI Position Setting
A major quality‑of‑life improvement is allowing you to choose where the Flight UI bar appears at the start of every flight.
Available default positions include:
- Top Left
- Top Center
- Top Right
- Bottom Left
- Bottom Center
- Bottom Right
You can still move the bar freely during flight, but this new setting ensures a consistent starting point tailored to your preferred layout.
Bad Flying Events System Added
The new Bad Flying Events system is also complete. When enabled, Passenger2x can now trigger randomised cabin events based on poor flying inputs. These events add realism, unpredictability, and consequences to rough flying.
Possible events include:
- Passengers requiring medical attention
- Drunk or disruptive passengers
- Cabin disturbances caused by sharp turns or aggressive climb/descent rates
This feature is optional and can be disabled by turning random events off.
Cabin Graphics Overhaul
One of the biggest remaining tasks was the complete overhaul of all cabin graphics. We’re happy to confirm that every cabin asset has now been updated to match the new UI style.
This includes:
- New seat designs
- Updated galleys
- Redesigned lavatories
- Cleaner icons
- Modernised cabin overlays
- Improved layout clarity
The cabin now looks cleaner, sharper, and more consistent with the rest of the redesigned interface.

Manual Rewrite Underway
With the UI and cabin graphics complete, the final step before release is updating the Passenger2x manual. The Flight UI section needs a full rewrite due to the number of changes. Once the manual rewrite is complete, the new Flight UI will be ready to go.
We’re incredibly excited to bring this update to you. It’s cleaner, faster, more intuitive, and more modern. It lays the foundation for future roadmap features throughout 2026.
Thank you for your patience, your feedback, and your continued support.
Next week, you’ll finally get to experience the new Passenger2x Flight UI.
