New Flight UI Released – A Complete Overhaul of the In‑Flight Experience

The brand new Passenger2x Flight UI has officially landed, bringing with it one of the most significant visual and functional upgrades the platform has ever received. After months of development, testing, and refinement, the redesigned interface is now available.

This update focuses on clarity, speed, and usability. Every part of the in-flight experience has been revisited, from the flight bar and cabin graphics to how menus open, how information is displayed, and how events are triggered. The result is a cleaner, more modern UI that feels smoother to use and far more intuitive, especially during busy phases of flight.

A Rebuilt Flight Bar With New Display Options

The Flight UI overhaul introduces a refreshed flight bar with sharper icons, improved spacing, and a more readable layout. Alongside the main view, a new Mini View option has been added for users who prefer a compact interface that stays out of the way while flying.

Menus have been simplified across the board. Instead of navigating through multiple layers, actions now appear in clean dropdowns, making announcements, service options, and settings quicker to access.

Automatic Cabin Preparation for Landing

One of the headline additions in this update is the new Automatic Prepare Cabin feature. Users can now choose an altitude at which Passenger2x will automatically secure the cabin and begin landing procedures. This mirrors real-world airline workflows and removes the need to manually trigger the cabin secure sequence during busy approaches.

The feature is fully configurable in settings and can be disabled for users who prefer manual control.

Bad Flying Events Now Active

Another major addition is the new bad flying behaviour system. When Random Events are enabled, rough flying inputs can now trigger cabin situations such as medical issues or disruptive passengers. This adds a new layer of realism and consequence to poor handling, making the in-flight experience feel more dynamic and reactive.

New Default Flight UI Position Setting

The update also introduces a new setting allowing users to choose where the Flight UI bar appears at the start of each flight. Multiple preset positions are available, giving players more control over their preferred layout before the flight even begins.

Refreshed Cabin Graphics

Every cabin asset has been updated to match the new UI style. Seats, galleys, lavatories, icons, and overlays have all been refreshed, giving the cabin a cleaner and more consistent look across all aircraft types. The new graphics pair with the redesigned UI to create a more modern and polished in flight environment.

Additional Improvements

Alongside the major overhaul, this update includes several smaller enhancements that improve overall usability:

  • A new turn around animation
  • The ability to scroll tables by clicking on the track
  • Memory improvements
